Khwisero

The district of Khwisero where EWB-MSU has committed to work. Roughly 10 by 2-3 miles, it has a population of 120-140,000 people and 63 primary schools.

Political Organization

During a nationwide political reorganization in 2009, Khwisero was upgraded in status from a division to a district (formerly, it was part of the Butere-Mumias District).
