Khwisero Board

The Khwisero Board was formed by Katy Hansen. A group composed of local members, it functions as our Kenyan counterpart. It helps determine what projects should be implemented, and communication the regions needs.

As of early 2012, most of it's members are appointed representatives from different organizations. The board used to be composed of 14 members, but now consist of nine. The board has several specific positions, including chairman, treasurer, and secretary.

Evolution of the board

The Khwisero board was originally created as a group with limited power, but has since then become more and more involved. We hope that they continue to become a steering force for our organization. One discussion going on in EWB is the possiblity of having board members be elected.
